Regimens for acne removal usually involve washing the face to remove dirt that may cause acne; hence the right kind of soap should be used. Since ordinary soap cannot remove the dirt that is deeply embedded in a person's pores, an astringent type of anti acne product may be needed.
A toner product may also be required to help restore the balance of the person's skin, and a cream that is either medicated for severe acne cases or has sunscreen should be applied to help keep the harmful elements at bay.
These are just examples of the kinds of acne skin care products you can expect to get or buy when you are faced with an acne problem. You may get professional help from someone like a dermatologist to help you determine whether you need all these products for your particular acne problem or whether you will be fine with only one or two of these products and product types. It is always safer to consult a dermatologist first before you commit to any particular acne skin care product, so that you can find out the exact products that are suitable for your skin type and the severity of your acne problems.
